Access
Students of the college can use the station for college work. See Access and booking for eligibility and materials information.
The Maker Station is in room GF30 ↗, and the room is open during college working hours. Staff are normally available Monday to Friday, 09:30–16:30. Check Access and booking for access details.
First-year students book through Moodle. Students in second year and above book through SISO. See Workshops for routes and Access and booking for the booking steps.
No. Complete the relevant workshop route before booking equipment independently. Contact staff about equipment with project-specific guidance.
Equipment
Bring the files and materials specified on the relevant workshop or equipment page. Confirm unfamiliar materials with staff first.
Availability depends on the machine, training and supervision required. See Access and booking for staffed hours, independent use and machine booking.
Stop if continuing may be unsafe or damage the machine. Check the relevant equipment guide or ask staff before changing unfamiliar settings, and report any damage.
