About the station

Digital fabrication for college work

The Maker Station supports students using digital fabrication in their college work. Its equipment includes laser and Silhouette cutters, 3D printers and scanners, a hot-wire cutter, a clay printer and an ultrasonic welder.

Students can prepare files, cut and shape approved materials, make 3D prints and capture objects as digital meshes. Complete the relevant training before using equipment.

The Maker Station is in room GF30 ↗. The room is open during college working hours, with staff normally available Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 16:30.
